"SERBIA IS RECYCLING!"
Over 20.000 visitors attended the third edition of Supernatural Festival at the Hajdučka Česma, Košutnjak. As the condition to enter the festival was to bring three aluminum and three plastic bottles, we are proud to announce that nearly 10,000 visitors came to the festival following this condition. By the end of the festival we collected over 150.000 plastic bottles and aluminum cans brought by festival visitors for recycling. That is just over 2 tons of waste! Around 96% of the festival visitors entered festival for free (by recycling), so we can say that the mission of Supernatural 2009 edition is accomplished. We showed that recycling is possible in Serbia, that the citizens are aware of environmental issues and that the people in Serbia do care for the future of their children. The third festival went without any serious problems, leaving police patrols and ambulance without any action. Rambo Amadeus and Dub Pistols got the biggest attention from the festival visitors, while Flip and MKDSL did their best at the DJ "Disko Livada" stage. At one instance, representatives of the KST handed Rambo Amadeus the award for the top-ecologist which stands for the public figure that did the best public promotion of the environmental awareness. Rambo received the glass windmill made of recycled material by Dimitrije Anđelković as a gift for his advocacy of the ecological principles. Preparations for the Supernatural Festival 2010 edition are on the way. See you at the Hajdučka Česma in the year 2010.!!!

"Notos - Wind Energy"
"Notos Wind Energy" is an alternative energy developer that specializes in producing electricity from the power of wind. With a strategic plan and the appropriate alliances now in place, Notos is preparing to begin the development phase of its program. There are great regional differences in the availability of wind energy in Serbia and significant differences are present even at small distances. The availability of wind energy in Serbia is greater in lower areas than in higher ones. The Northern part of Serbia is characterized by a strong local southeast wind – Košava.
One region in Serbia especially interesting for Notos is Vojvodina AP, with almost two-thirds of its area having wind speed that exceeds 4 m/s. The Pannonian Plain, north of the Danube, covers approximately 2000 square kilometers and is suitable for the construction of wind generators because the basic infrastructure, from roads to the electricity grid, already exists. The prerequisite constant level of 5 m/s can be found in several locations: Bela Crkva, Indija, Irig, Sombor, Novi Sad, Vršac, and Zrenjanin.

"Biomass – Natural Energy"
Biomass consists of biodegradable parts of general waste and waste generated by farming & foresting industries, or industrial and communal waste that can be used as fuel. Biomass doesn't pollute - Serbia can realize nearly 30 percent of its energy requirements with the use of biomass technology. Biomass is a renewable source of energy, nearly inexhaustible. It doesn't contribute to the global warming, wood, for an example is a completely natural material. By combusting the waste wood no extra carbon dioxide is released into atmosphere. Biomass technology doesn't require tree-cutting because the biomass briquettes consist entirely of waste and industrially unusable wood. Also, when it comes to biomass, by simply combusting the wooden waste material, we prevent further sulfur dioxide emission in the atmosphere. High concentration of sulfur dioxide creates the harmful acid rain and other acidic forms of precipitation that are extremely harmful to people, plants, aquatic animals and infrastructure.

"Flying Bag Workshop"
Plastic bags became to be the prominent feature of the urban landscapes. Where there are people, there are plastic bags around. Carried by the wind, they can travel as much as thousand miles until they land on the fence or tree, waving freely for the next five hundred years. Plastic bags will outlive us all! They are practically indestructible and their number is growing rapidly. Plastic bags remind us that maybe we are just members of the consumer club. But there may be a solution! By transforming plastic bags into the raw material later used to create more consumer goods, we can put an end to the capitalist logic: production-consummation-disposal. This way we can also transform ourselves, as well, from the mere consumers into something more meaningful. So, bring your piled plastic bags, or collect some from the streets and come to the flying bag workshop. "Dub Pistols at the Supernatural 2009 festival!"
Internationally famed British act Dub Pistols will perform on the following Supernatural 2009 festival. The band will be presenting their new studio album "Rum & Coke", which, they say, is the top album in the bands career. Audience will catch the chance to hear the new material which will hit the stores 18th of May. One of the most interesting British acts is well-known for their remixes done for artists such as Lily Allen, Bono, Ian Brown, Moby, Natalie Imbruglia, Crystal Method, Limp Bizkit & Korn. Their songs appeared in movies such as "Blade II", "Bad Company" & "Mystery Men", even several video games. Dub Pistols have so far published three studio albums. Regarding their new album "Rum & Coke", the band says that it is a specific mixture of heavy soul, ska, electro-funk, lovers rock and hip-hop genres. Veliki Prezir & Shiroko at the festival
Besides Rambo Amadeus and Eva Braun, bands such as Veliki Prezir and Shiroko are the new confirmed acts that will perform at the Supernatural Festival Biodiesel Stage. Both bands will be promoting their new albums. Veliki Prezir will show a glimpse of the new material that is currently in the final stage of production, and Shiroko will be promoting their debut album titled "1", which was published during the December of 2008.

Disko Livada / Disco Meadows
Some of the most interesting DJ attractions from Belgrade will be performing on the second, more electronic-oriented Disco Meadows stage. There you will have the chance to experience live acts such as Funky Šljiva, Idemo na Mars (DJ Flip & MKDSL), Indie Go!, Felony Flats feat. DJ Inspektor (Banana Rave), DJ Peca, Braća Burazeri and Tijana T. Stay tuned for the most prominent electronic music from Belgrade city.

Three aluminum cans and three plastic bottles!
Now, here is something really interesting. This year, visitors can bring three aluminum cans and three plastic bottles as well and get the chance to enter Supernatural Festival 2009 for free! With this action Supernatural movement sends an important message to all people in Serbia on the importance of recycling and responsible acting towards nature. For all visitors that choose not to recycle ticket price will be 400 RSD. Focus of the Supernatural Festival 2009 will be renewable energy sources and recycling, and the main stage of the festival will be completely powered with biodiesel technology. Like in the years before, this edition of Supernatural Festival will include numerous organizations which will be doing workshops and presentations of modern environmental issues & solutions.

Rambo Amadeus & Eva Braun at Supernatural Festival
Rambo Amadeus and Eva Braun confirmed their presence at Supernatural Festival 2009! Self-proclaimed "World's Mega-Tsar" and Bečej-based act with cult following will present their material at the third edition of Supernatural Festival which will take place 26th of April 2009. at the Hajdučka Česma, Košutnjak (Belgrade). Rambo Amadeus is currently promoting his latest studio release "Hipšizik Metafizik" published during the year of 2008. for PGP-RTS. Eva Braun at Supernatural Festival
Eva Braun, band with a cult following based in Bečej, Serbia will perform on this year edition of Supernatural Festival. After one year hiatus, band finally got together and confirmed their presence at the festival. The line-up is practically the same: Goran Vasović, Milan Glavaški and Petar Dolinka. Nearly twelve years after the first album "Pop Music" appeared, the B92 production published the remastered version of the well-acclaimed domestic guitar-pop masterpiece plus nine additional bonus songs. In the 2008. Eva Braun published "Off The Record", collection of rare and unpublished recordings from the 1997-2006 period for the "Label Star".

Supernatural 09th - 26th April - Hajdučka česma
Third Supernatural Festival in a row will take place in Sunday, 26th of April 2009. at the well-known site Hajdučka Česma (Košutnjak), Belgrade. For the first time, domestic bands and electronic acts will be accompanied by foreign bands and DJs. Focus of the Supernatural Festival 2009 will be renewable energy sources and recycling, and the main stage of the festival will be completely powered with biodiesel technology. Like in the years before, this edition of Supernatural Festival will include numerous organizations which will be doing workshops and presentations of modern environmental issues & solutions.
